Since our humble foundings in a backroad garage as Sills Cycle Center, to our Quilt City Megastore as Four Rivers Harley-Davidson, we've been a proud member of our regional extended family. Those groups and organizations we love greatly, and even the Motor Company we passionately promote, have been so generous as to recognize us for our assistance and work for them. We appreciate all they've done for us!
The Harley-Davidson Motor Company extends its prestigious Circle of Excellence Bar & Shield awards yearly to the best dealerships in the country. A Bar & Shield award is hard earned and showcases a dealership's hard work for its customers and employees, and strive to furthur the Harley-Davidson passion. Four Rivers earned it's first Bar & Shield back in 1996 and now proudly lays claim to eight of them, including a crowning Gold Bar & Shield award in 2006! Just recently, the Motor Company recognized Four Rivers with presenting us with another Bar & Shield award for 2007 and 2008!
Throughout our business' history, Four Rivers Harley-Davidson has received numerous awards from the Harley-Davidson Motor Company. From District Achievement Awards and Military Sales Recognition, Four Rivers has proudly been a member of the H-D family of dealers.
As a strong member of the Paducah regional community, Four Rivers has also been honored by numerous area organizations. Local chapters of the Muscular Dystrophy Association's Recognition and Appreciation for assistance, to the CMT/ABATE Chapter's Appreciation for assistance in their creation. The local Nurses, who hold a grand Run for the Nurses event every year, recently presented the shop with a grand appreciation for assistance in promoting their cause. However, for us, the real award was being able to work with all these groups and people.
Beginning in 1995, the dealership has been honored for numerous reasons by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation with such awards as the Outstanding Dealer of the Year.
One of greatest rewards, however, has no plaque or trophy to showcase it's very existence. There is no framed certificate saying we won. That award if being able to sponsor the Paducah, KY Chapter of the Harley Owner's Group. Our local chapter members make up the heart and soul of our family and there can be no greater reward than that brotherly bond. Plus, they've earned enough plaques and trophies and awards to make anyone blush, including the Most Decorated Chapter award. You could say we're proud parents!
